Is Presidents Day weekend really the best time to buy a vehicle?

Jaffarian Volvo Toyota Scion offers great values all year long, so can you do well buying another time of the year – sure.  Presidents Day weekend has become a vehicle sale weekend — synonymous with great prices — with new models available and prior models available for some great deals to help make room in our showrooms. If you are in the market for a vehicle, there are many specials and incentives available which is why vehicle sales are projected to be up about 25% this coming weekend as the tradition of vehicle promotions continue.

Toyota is featuring special lease deals and financing through the holiday weekend. Volvo is celebrating  “King of Sweden Day” with great lease offers or 1.9% financing for up to 60 months on any new 2016 Volvo. .

I tend to agree with AAA’s automotive columnist Jon Paul, who recently said in a Boston Globe article: “Anytime is a good time to buy a car.”  If you have a need, we are here to help you find the best vehicle for your needs and budget.  RealCarTips.com would also answer ‘yes’ to your question.  They recommend, especially for consumers in the Northeast, to consider buying during the time period from Christmas through Presidents Day. Other times recommended by RealCarTips.com include Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day and Thanksgiving weekend. Other than Presidents Day, these are holidays when car-buying is not typically top-of-mind, which bodes well for the consumer.  It is important to keep in mind, that many sales and deals are defined by the manufacturers and not the dealerships.

At a dealership such as Jaffarian, we are not selling based on price alone. We realize we sell the same Toyotas and Volvos as other dealerships, so as I’ve mentioned so many times, buying a vehicle is more about the quality of the dealership, their reviews and reputation, their service technicians, and so much more.

We’d love to see you visit our showroom on Presidents Day weekend, but then again, we’re happy to see you any other weekend of the year.
